About Me

My Mom was a wonderful church organist in Ashland, KY for 60 years. My Aunts and Grandmothers played the piano, organ, and sang — I come by music naturally. I have an undergrad degree in Piano and Voice and a Master’s degree in conducting. After graduation, I moved to New York City, where I worked as a musician on and off Broadway, regionally, and on National tours. I taught/coached/musically directed at New York University, Sarah Lawrence College, and Manhattan College. After some years in NYC, I moved back to my hometown to accept a church musician position, and to be closer to family. When my friend/piano technician passed away, I attended Piano Technician Academy to learn the art of piano tuning and service. I continue education with incredible mentors at Artisan Mentoring, meeting with them online several times weekly. I love continuing education, and bringing that training to you.
